

In the end, I feel I would be well served by a good manual. I imagine the principals gather lots of valuable information for development and marketing from the topics. Is the manual going to clear the trees? So that's how I look at it.

Is the manual going to break the log jam? I can't see the forest for the trees. Even with an excellent manual available, people are still going to use the forum. Maybe one out of fifty answers are accurate, understandable, and on point. I've found that forums, in general, are not well suited as reference material. I'm not so critical about the nature of the forum. So then my question resurfaces, who should the manual target, beginners or advanced professionals? When I do use it, I find that I have to confirm the procedure to be sure it applies. As a beginner, I don't find it very useful. The question I ponder is how to reach the target audience.
