Pepperdine's one-run lead held up until the second inning when Nathan Barraza hit a two-out solo home run to square the game up at 1-1. After Ontiveros retired the first batter of the inning, Pepperdine put together three-straight singles with Quintt Landis coming up with an RBI hit.
